About Flow State Collective
At Flow State Collective, we believe yoga is a powerful complement to every athletic pursuit - whether you’re a runner, cyclist, hiker, climber, or simply living an active Colorado lifestyle. While many yoga practices can feel too slow or mellow for athletes, our approach is designed to engage both body and mind in ways that support endurance, strength, and recovery.
Our classes draw from Ashtanga, Rocket™, and Vinyasa traditions, blending full-body movement with mindfulness to help athletes of all kinds improve flexibility, mobility, balance, and focus. These practices not only reduce the risk of injury but also elevate overall performance - on the trail, road, or mat.
We’re building community through in-person classes and events across the Denver area, connecting practice with Colorado’s natural beauty. Whether in a park, on a trail, or at a unique pop-up location, our gatherings are as much about movement as they are about creating space for connection.
“The secret of your future is hidden in your daily routine.”

Our Story
Flow State Collective was born from years of love for yoga and a belief in its ability to support more than just the practice itself. Founder Marissa Paulsen, with over 12 years of yoga practice and 7 years of teaching experience, found herself drawn yoga not in isolation, but to the way it amplified her life holistically - as an athlete, as a yogi, and as a human being. Running, swimming, biking, hiking, and connection to others and self - each pursuit felt more sustainable, more fluid, and more balanced when supported by yoga.
Our vision is to create a space where yoga is not an end in itself, but a powerful tool for performance, recovery, and connection to self and community.
This is more than yoga. It’s about creating flow — in movement, in community, and in life.
